As you will have seen in the national media, veterinary services have been in high demand in the last 18 months due to increased pet ownership. We are managing this current situation as best as we can which often means booking routine appointments later in our diary.
In order to continue providing the best urgent and emergency vet cover and routine health care for all our current and new clients we are making some temporary changes, which will come into effect from Monday 1st November 2021.
Until further notice, we are reducing opening hours at our Heybridge branch to two days a week:
Tuesdays and Wednesdays
8.30am – 7.00pm
These temporary changes will allow us to have a full complement of vets, nurses and receptionists at our main site in Chelmsford enabling us to give the best possible service and care, which remains our priority, including the hospitalisation of sick animals. We will regularly assess the situation and reopen Heybridge fully as soon as we can. In the meantime, our Heybridge patients can be seen and cared for at our Galleywood branch in Chelmsford on Mondays and Thursdays – Sundays.
These changes do not affect our normal emergency out of hours service.
We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused.
How you can help us
To help us to book in and see as many patients as possible:
- If you can’t make your appointment, please let us know so that we can offer this to someone else
- Book routine appointments well in advance eg booster vaccinations, neutering, animal health certificate etc
- Only attend the practice if you have a pre-booked appointment including the collection of flea & worm treatment, repeat medications or food.
We really do appreciate your support and understanding during the current situation and are working hard to ensure your pets are treated as soon as possible.
